Terms of service

Your account

You need an account to use ScribleNest. Keep your password to yourself and tell us if you think someone else has it; you're responsible for what happens under your sign-in. A workspace can have several people in it: its admins decide who joins and what each person can do, and a workspace set up by an organisation belongs to that organisation.

Your notes stay yours

Everything you write, draw, import or sign in ScribleNest is yours (or your organisation's). We store and process it only to run the service, as the privacy policy describes. We don't sell it and don't use it to train AI models. You can download your PDFs, with your markup on them, whenever you like.

Plans and storage

• The free plan stays free. It comes with storage for each person in the workspace, shown on the pricing page and in the app.
• Paid plans are billed in advance for each month or year, at the price shown when you choose one, and aren't refundable for part of a period unless we agree otherwise or the law says so. Prices can change with 30 days' notice before a renewal.
• When a workspace is full, new PDFs, pictures and files can't be added until space is freed or the plan changes. Nothing already stored is removed, and your pages keep saving.
• Buying through Apple. If you ever buy a plan inside the iPhone or iPad app, Apple takes the payment and its terms apply to that purchase, including how to cancel it.

Using it properly

• Only what you may use. Import and share only documents you have the right to, and send documents for signature only to people who expect them.
• Signatures are yours to rely on. ScribleNest records who signed what and when. Whether an electronic signature is right for a particular document is for you to decide.
• Don't break it. No attempts to breach security, overload the service or get around its limits, and no reselling access without our agreement.
• Don't use it for harm. Nothing illegal, deceptive or abusive, and no content that infringes someone else's rights.

We may suspend an account used this way, and will say why.

Availability

We work to keep ScribleNest running around the clock and to fix problems quickly, and we give notice of planned maintenance where we can, but we don't promise it will never be interrupted. Keep copies of anything you can't afford to lose. Support is by email at support@scriblenest.com.

Ending it

You can stop at any time: cancel a paid plan, or delete your account in the app (More → Delete account). Deleting is permanent and removes your notes as the privacy policy describes. We may close an account that breaks these terms or leaves fees unpaid, after telling you.

Liability

ScribleNest is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for lost profits, lost data or indirect losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it. Nothing here limits liability that the law doesn't allow to be limited.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top changes, and anything significant is announced in the app at least 30 days before it applies to you. Using ScribleNest after that means accepting the new version.
